That seedy diner at the cross roads just outside of town

The night was settling in now, the city had faded away beyond the horizon in the rear view projection monitor. Enara had drifted off, her head resting calmly now again the passenger side window. Mayne, who up until now had stared unwaveringly forward, glanced over to the peaceful captive beside him and exhaled in relief that the questions had finally ceased for now. Coming into view now was an old seedy diner, run by an old friend of his, and with luck a good place to spend the night and wind down for a bit.
